Haydn Serenade
arranged by D. Piana (for flute or violin and harp)

The famous, joyous Serenade by Joseph Haydn, originally a movement of the String Quartet in F, H III 17, op.3/5, makes for a great introduction to ensemble playing with violin or flute. With few pedal changes, it is accessible to the advanced beginner on the pedal harp. The part of the melody instrument corresponds to the original first violin, and the harp part, as arranged by D. Piana, covers the accompanying pattern of the three other instruments.
