Dubez

Johann Dubex (1828 – 1891) was an Austrian composer, harpist, and player of many instruments. The Dubez family came from an area literally at the door of the city of Vienna, Neulerchenfeld, that was known for its lively folk music scene. His siblings also became accomplished harpists. Johann mastered several instruments and toured with concerts in Austria, the Balkans, and Turkey. His music is emotionally accessible.
