Dizi
F. J. Dizi (1780-1847) was a mysterious figure in the harp world who quietly led an astonishing music career and came to be called the ‘Beethoven of the Harp’. He was a daunting foe to the Erard establishment, because he insisted on seeking to improve the harp his own way, outside of their dominion. His chord combinations ring incisively with Beethovenian life energy.
